Once upon a time there was a girl.  She had everything, she lived with her Prince Charming, she had four beautiful children.  She made pretty things and she was very happy.  Then one  day she woke up and realised that her Prince Charming was gone, he didn't want to be with her any more, he told her that it had all been a fairy tale, he had never really been her Prince Charming at all, he wanted to rescue some other damsels in distress instead.  Her four beautiful children tried to comfort her, but it wasn't enough.  She stopped making pretty things and just faded away.  She's gone now, I haven't seen her in ages.
